What is Big Gulp?
Big Gulp is an independent, long-form, improv comedy troupe out of Boston. Rather than strictly following any structure, they perform their own brand of free-form improv where typical scene editing and show progression is done away with in favor of seamlessly flowing from one scene to the next. Big Gulp focuses on organically showing characters, the relationships between characters, heightening scenes, and making choices that give scenes a narrative feel without being planned out or discussed. Most importantly, Big Gulp will make you laugh!

At ImprovBoston, Big Gulp used to perform regularly on Friday nights during their 18-month run in the show Studio 40. They have performed at the Del Close Marathon, Baltimore Improv Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Hartford Improv Festival, and Women in Comedy Festival.
