This year was my first year participating in the 48 Hour Film Project. The idea is to write, shoot, and edit a short film between Friday and Sunday evenings. All the videos must incorporate the same prop (chocolate), character (Ivan/Ivana Wright – decorator), and line of dialog (“You’re making a big mistake.”) that are given on Friday night. In addition, each team is given a unique genre. Our team was given the choice of either a musical or western, we went with musical. I helped write the story (and will happily take credit for contributing the cake vs. pie debate) and co-play the Soviet General. Here it is, Team Whisk‘s entry to the 2012 48 Hour Film Festival, Red (velvet) Dawn:
Pretty great, huh?
