Hey guys, it’s New Year’s Eve! 2014 is basically over and in the spirit of the season, I present my top three posts of the year (as measured by number of times read). Check them out if you haven’t already:
#3) Hot Chicks Room
When I first got out of college, I spent a few months doing practically nothing. One day a job recruiter called me out of nowhere to ask if I was still available for hire…
#2) In the boardroom at Dunkin’ Donuts
We go to a board meeting for Dunkin’ Donuts. The company’s CEO, Nigel Travis, sits at the head of the table, soliciting advice from his top advisers. All his yes-men are nodding their heads in approval of everything. Nigel sets plans for the future in motion…
#1) Writing in Stephen Colbert’s Voice
I took a writing workshop with Eric Drysdale of The Colbert Report at ImprovBoston. During the class, we learned how the writers for The Colbert Report put their material together. The workshop started off with the group talking about things that were going on in the news and we eventually hit on a topic that Eric felt would be good to tackle for The Colbert Report’s “Tip of the Hat/Wag of the Finger.”
And, before I forget, thank you for supporting my website and Happy New Year! I’ll be back with new stuff in January.
