I spend a lot of time as a pedestrian. I drive sometimes, though rarely these days. I don’t have a car of my own any more, I sold it. Sometimes I miss my car. It felt good to sit in it, knowing it was mine. It gave me freedom until I moved to New York, then it became more of a ball and chain. (Though, for that year in which I both had a car and lived in New York, I still felt good sitting in it.) Now that I don’t drive, I hate your car…

11 Streets in Brooklyn That Sound Like Names of Pokémon
It’s been mentioned in this space that I’m a Pokémon Go player and anyone who has taken any kind of walk with me in the past few months knows that I’m still playing Pokémon Go on the regular. The game has generally not been as popular as when it was released but it was never going to keep up that popularity. This past weekend though, I relived the glory days of seeing hoards of players walking around with their phones out…
Excuse Me
Let me paint the picture: I’m on the subway here in New York and it’s crowded but not packed. There’s some space to move around, if one was so inclined, but no seats available. (If there was a seat, I’d probably be in it. I’m not a seat hog or anything but I wouldn’t let such a precious commodity go to waste.) These people probably have less experience going to improv shows than a typical improv audience member would, they are there for support and otherwise probably wouldn’t have come out…
It’s A New Year!
On New Year’s Eve I was asked about my resolution for the upcoming year. I’m not usually one for New Year’s resolutions but I’m throwing that non-tradition out the window. I (unironically) said my resolution is to blog more and I don’t care how dumb that sounds…
The Prequel Trilogy’s Tatooine Problem
I’m getting pumped for The Last Jedi to come out (I got my tickets for this Saturday at noon). To get me in the mood, I decided to watch all the Star Wars movies leading up to The Last Jedi. This meant re-watching the prequel films, a task I may never take up again…
Taste Test (Pretzel Fail)
My latest video is now up on my YouTube channel! This video came out nothing like I thought it would. I started off with the simple idea of comparing two beers that, in America, are called Czechvar and Budweiser…
